Welcome to our new Superintendent!

My name is Gage Garnas. I have an Associates Degree in Turf Management and Horticulture. I graduated in May of 2016 from Northeast Community College. As I was going to school I also played on the golf team for Northeast. After I graduated I was the interim superintendent at Evergreen Hills Golf Course in Battle Creek, NE. From there I went to Pickstown, SD as the full time Golf Course Superintendent.

In the summer of 2017 I got engaged to Payton Dyer. She and I met in college. This year we decided to move to Broken Bow to advance my career at a more prominent golf course. Another big factor in moving was to be closer to family. Her family is in the Kearney area and mine is in Concordia, Kansas.

In my spare time I enjoy golfing, hosting barbecues, throwing darts, and hunting. I mostly enjoy spending time with Payton, friends and family. Payton is still searching for employment but has found some very promising leads.
